Sim Racing Expo 2025 Review
Missed the Sim Racing Expo? We did too—so we gathered the biggest reveals, the honest impressions, and the practical takeaways that matter when you get back in the rig. From Fanatec’s podium DD and load cell pedals to SimLab’s DDX torque sync wheelbases, we talk about why expo testing is helpful yet imperfect, and where these products actually seem to be headed once you dial them in at home. We also share why Simagic’s missing active pedal was a letdown, and how clear roadmaps shape real buying decisions.
Then we shift gears into hardware you can feel today. VPG’s Porsche Cup‑style wheel drew serious attention (and real‑car cred), while Simucube 3 continued to anchor the premium space. Kunos’ Assetto Corsa Rally announcement brings Unreal Engine 5 into the rally world, promising modern visuals and nuanced physics that could pull in both dirt veterans and circuit regulars looking for a new challenge. And for everyday usability, we drop a tiny, high‑impact tip: a $20 wireless mini keyboard with touchpad that solves the “flying mouse” problem on motion rigs.
The centerpiece of our session is a deep dive on iRacing’s Dallara IL‑15. We explain why it’s the sweet spot between F3 and the IR‑18, how push‑to‑pass actually works in races, and where to use it for real lap time: out of corners to accelerate, not at top speed. Expect turbo lag in the lower gears, reward smooth exits, and enjoy strong C‑class fields with fixed setups that keep the racing clean. It’s a car that teaches discipline without the “always trying to kill you” chaos of top‑tier machinery.
We close with Track of the Week: Silverstone. From airfield roots and rope barriers to the modern flow of Maggotts and Becketts, we retrace the track’s key changes and unpack the eternal debate—should racing get slower to get closer, or should circuits get bolder to match the speed? Hit play for gear insights, setup sanity, and racecraft you can use today. If you enjoy the show, subscribe, share it with your league, and drop a review to help more sim racers find us.

This episode is brought to you by Trophy AI, the ultimate performance coach tool for simracers. Hello and welcome to the Chicane Podcast, where we discuss all things in this embracing world. I'm your host, Jason Rivera, and I'm joined here by Mr. Jeff Smart. How's everyone? How is the one, Jeff Smart, doing today? The dude, the one and only, often imitated, never duplicated. I guess everyone, right? You know, I can include myself in this, you know. Fair enough. That's good. That's good. That's good that you can you're having a good week. Uh it's been a hell of a week, you know.
Jeff:Yeah? How about you? You've been busy? I've been super busy, man.
Jason:I I got some uh what you call this? I got some chicane juice, if y'all know what this is. Um little little uh electrolytes in there trying to get the engine kick started here. But no, no. A little pick me up, yeah. Uh good week for me overall. I uh haven't been I haven't been re-league racing lately, and I just I feel it. I need to get back there. So um just working on a bunch of stuff. Um building a server, building all kinds of things in this house. Uh, you know, you know how it goes. How about you? Yeah, dude. If it's not one thing, it's another, right? Uh no, dude. I've just been busy. I've been uh in the in the ring a lot. I've been uh uh driving. Um I've been absolutely love with the uh the Delara IL 15. Um but then I watched my my it's kind of cool story, real quick is uh I watched uh the the Top Gun one with my son the other day. Um, and then I got the bug to get in there and do some flying uh in DCS. So I've been actually doing a lot of driving, a lot of flying this week. So a little bit of this, a little bit of that. So um or the the 80s? No, this is the the OG, the OG, the original. The best one, bro, the 80s. That's that's the only thing. He's eight years old. Yeah, 100%. Uh, but he's like in that age where you know airplanes are super cool and stuff like that. So I was like, ooh, you know, and he he flies the hell out of the plane. Uh I'll get him in the rig and flying, and all of a sudden I'll just be in the living room and be like, Dad, I crashed, I need a new plane. I have to like run in and you know, load him up, load him up another plane, and he flies around. So, yeah, it's cool. He likes to he didn't really care about the driving, but he loves to fly. So um, but yeah, it's just cool that you know, dual use um out of the rig. So a hundred percent. We preach that here a lot. It's like you build a simulator. I mean, I'm not so I wouldn't be surprised if you got into like the warships, you know. That's another sim, you know, or train sim, farm sim. I'll cut some grass in my rig, bro. I got an expensive setup. I'll cut some grass. I'll cut some grass. Yeah, I mean they they had uh they had a couple sims from uh at the expo about the uh the farming. Okay. I uh yeah, both right, both expos, right? Because we just got through the uh the German sim racing expo just went down on the 17th through the weekend, right? This uh weekend on the 17th. And we're a little um, I guess I I don't I don't want to speak for Jeff, but I'm pretty sure we're a little bummed that we uh jealous of the the crews that were out there, yeah. Yeah, I mean it it was kind of like super cool stuff, and yeah. It's it's it's it's a long way, dude, from out here. I mean, it's legitimately could be perfectly halfway around the world. So I I'm going next year, and that's for damn sure going next year, but I have to make a trip out of it because I gotta it's 18 hours from here, you know. That's a long journey.
Jeff:Yeah.
Jason:Um going and going in reverse too. We're going on the other side of the of the of our side of the world, I guess, right? Because you can't really say that to depends on where you're at, and you know, I don't know. But uh yeah, so I have plans to go and make a trip out of it. And yeah, because this year it was just too small. It was just too close to the to the um uh the you know uh the sim gaming expo the expo, yeah. American uh sim gaming expo, right? So still it I got the bug that you know I saw all the announcements, I've been keeping track, I've been taking down notes, and yeah, I mean that's a good segue, but you know, is there anything else you would like to put out, Jeff, before we start with the uh main topic, main session?
Jeff:Nah, dude, I think I'm good here. I'm ready to get into it today, so let's kick it off here.
Jason:Okay. So since the Shicane podcast, we could not make it this year. Um, I don't know if any of our listeners made it. And if you did, then kudos to you. Let me know if we missed anything. But I have some notes here on the most notables, right, that that happened during uh the the Sim Racing Expo. And we'll start with Fanitech, which is now technically Corsair. Uh they they showed off their podium DD flagship uh direct drive wheelbase and their podium load cell pedals, and those are pretty cool. Uh, I know a bunch of creators uh checked them out and sat in there, and you know, but you know how these things go when you go to an expo and you try out pedals, right? And you try out wheelbases, those are very personal devices, so I can't I can't really do a data uh how do you say this? I can't really confide in that all the way, you know, until you have it home and then you actually apply settings and you get it dialed into the way you, you know. I don't know. What do you how do you feel about setups at an expo? Yeah, 100%. And I and I think we learned this lesson from um when we were in Chicago is um when the the the the um the Monza uh active pedal and we were like this is terrible, like it just wasn't good, and then we realized that hey, this could be a software setting, and like we are just getting a bad setup for this pedal. You know, it's you can't really, to your point, uh, tell how you really feel because like especially the brake is so subjective to what car you're in. Like if you set me up with a perfect setup in a GT3, I'd be like, this is totally different than what I'm accustomed to when I'm normally driving my formula car, you know. So it to your point, it's just it it's a nice you can get a general feel of kind of how these things are, but it's hard to really judge um you know, you know, how they are. It's good to talk to people and and the um the reps they have there for they can articulate, hey, you know, you can change this out and that out to make it you know uh uh a firmer or stiffer, so to speak, or softer than you know what it is right now, or you know, they're trying to just set you um, they're kind of giving you the the the bell-shaped curve of the feel, you know, of everybody. So it's it's okay for everybody, not terrible for anybody. So um, yeah, I'm kind of with you what you said. It's theoretically, it's very subjective for some of these things. That would be um a very interesting. I mean, I like to think that they just find help and they put things together, you know what I mean? Um, and they find help whoever can help. And you know, because I don't know. I don't know with with setups, it's a very, very subjective personal thing. Um, but yeah, I'll continue. I don't know why we you know, one more thing real quick, if you don't mind me jumping into here, is like let's tip our hat and give these guys a little bit of credit because these guys with the manufacturers are setting up massive booths, uh like four or five rigs in legitimately like a day and hooking up you know their PCs to them. You know, if you're if you have like some of these huge high-end motion rigs, like it's ridiculous the amount of setup they're doing in like one day, four or three days to just tear it down. So let's cut, I guess we can kind of cut them a little bit of slack for you know not having things perfectly tuned because they are like massive amounts of work on like a Thursday to prep for a Friday. So um, I just want to you know tip my hat that like I understand and appreciate the amount of work to get some of these booths ready. Yeah, I mean a hundred percent. A hundred percent. And it's a lot of moving parts, there's people everywhere. Um, even while they're setting up, there's there's there's dust, there's people everywhere, there's you know, there's all kinds of there's a lot going on. And I, you know, George opened up a little to us about the behind the scenes, and it's not easy, you know, it's it's not an easy task. But anyway, sim, uh let's move on here on the list here of notables. So that was that was kind of it for Fanatech. And then SimLab has their DDX torque sync wheelbases. They had two of them, they had the DDX26 and the DDX39. Uh as a public reveal, 350 what fifth architecture, and yeah, it was first hands-on on on at the show. So that that's another so wheel, yeah. Go ahead. Let me ask you this. What was the difference between that one and whatever they brought out to Chicago? Because, in my opinion, the one in Chicago, while it felt okay when you looked at it, it didn't look like it was remotely close, ready for prime time. So tip my hat to Sin uh Simlab to get from where they were in Chicago, like was it two months ago to where they are today? But you you know what I'm saying? Like they still had like the back end of the DDU was like open and like wires, you could still see wires at the connectors, and it wasn't polished uniformly. It looked weird, it it looked like it was yeah connected to some sort of amplifier. And that's why I told you I was like, hey, this wheel does not feel good, but then that's not a fair statement because it's not the final product, it's not the final. Um, I just think that what we tried was a very early version of it, and they just wanted to have the presence and say, hey, SimLab is here, SimLab is working on you know two new wheel bases, and this is you can get an idea. I don't I don't know if that's what they wanted, but a hundred percent, right? I I just um those are very those are very, very popular bases right now. A lot of people are deciding whether they're gonna get a semicon 3 or one of these guys. That's that's what's been trending um hard on the interwaves, you know, especially with yeah their connectivity, you know, all that stuff that's happening. Yeah, I think SimLab is really starting to push some premium product. I mean, there they have the um Mercedes F1 wheel. They just released the um the IndyCar wheel that they're partnership with uh Causeworth. You know, that's not gonna be a cheap wheel. So they're starting to I I don't did they push the price up with these CDUs uh other direct drives wheelbases? Um not that I know of at the time. I mean I can always update it. I can always yeah, I can always if if I find it later, I can always put it in the in the description and also yeah. I don't know the price. Okay, moving to that premium product. Yeah, 100%. Anyways, all right, moving forward. So Sim Magic. Go ahead, buddy. Yeah, Sim Magic. Check this out. They announced a new formula wheel called the Zeus Formula Steering Wheel, F1 style. They had the Evo Ultra Wheelbase, 28 newton meters, they had the P700 pedals. Where's the active pedal? I don't even talk about them, but don't we want I would don't even want to talk about it? Where's their active? Everybody was expecting the active pedal. Everybody was was thinking about it last year. This is it. They were showing it off. Yeah. And this is the biggest event in in our community in our hobbies. This is it. This is where you want to reveal something that huge is is here. Uh but hey, I don't know. Jason, straight no chaser here. Dude, I was I I was disappointed. I mean, I I mean, because this is like, you know, this is where you get the trickle down, right? Competition is what keeps prices down and and products a good product. Is there's competition out there, and I think a lot of people were waiting for some magic to push their active show up with their active pedal. And I I was you know, lead leading that, you know, that army there of you know expectations. And I was I'm gonna be straight, I was yeah, I was pretty disappointed that they didn't come with an active pedal. They came with a ton of wheels. Yeah, man. Last year they had it locked in this little uh acrylic cage, and it was just simulating moving back and forth. Nobody touched the pedal at all. Nobody you can walk up to it and look at it, but I don't know. I don't know if uh I don't know if they scrapped the idea and start it over, you know. And that's the thing. Sometimes, you know, some you know, sometimes Sim Magic does Q ⁇ A's on their on their YouTube channel, and it's very controlled, in my opinion. It's like, where are these questions really coming from? I'm pretty sure people want to know where's your damn active pedal? How come we can't have a uh formula? Well, they just announced a formula wheel, which we gotta look at um later, but why couldn't your why couldn't you upgrade your your previous wheel to work with with simhub? You know, all those things are questions that I'm pretty sure that the mass majority of the voice uh was definitely heard. It was whether it was acknowledged is very different. So yeah, so because I made some comments about those wheels, and I was like, hey, are these simhub compatible? Because I mean that's that's a showstopper for me, right? I mean, I because I was when I was looking for a like what we call like a trophy wheel, um, the FX Pro, not Sim Hub compatible. Showstopper. Next, you know, so I did hear that these are um now to what level is interesting, right? Because is it telemetry where you can just like make some lights, you know, you could put a Daniel Newman uh LED you know uh profile on it through SimHub? I hope so is one thing versus putting a you know a a um the screen? I'm talking about the screen a screen on it of your choice, yeah. You know, that's those are two different questions. And I don't think we as a community have a clean answer from that. Right. So that's what I mean. They come out with these QAs, and it's kind of it's very controlled, like the QA would say a random question that that you can find just with a simple Google search. Uh not a shot to them. I'm just saying, hey man, let's let's let's communicate a little more. Let's keep the the the fans. There's a lot of fans out there that are following Sim Magic, they want to support Sim Magic, they want to spend money on Sim Magic. So a lot of a lot of those people, when they saw the Active Pedal, they're like, I'm just gonna wait for the Sim Magic Active Pedal. I'm just gonna wait. And it's been a whole year since they unveiled a prototype, you know, it wasn't it didn't even have a release date. So I don't know. I hopefully they hopefully they come out with something. Hopefully somebody says something to them because it's it's looking kind of stagnant on their end, even though they have products coming out, but it's not very, it's not anything revolutionary, right? Yeah, it's evolutionary, not revolutionary. It's just more maybe somebody that went to the show. Yeah, maybe somebody that went to the show can speak, you know. If they ask the question specifically, hey, can we load up different you know, uh screens, whether it be lovely, DNR, whatever dash that you're looking for, can you do that? Or is it just LED profiles? Let us know in the comments if if you have talked to them while you were there. Okay, for sure. So we'll move on to the list here. Thrustmaster, which um they're not quitting, you know. Thrustmaster is still in the game. Um, they got a new formula wheel add-on, a Ferrari SF25 edition. Um, they have the updated T18 bundle, which includes the Ferrari pack, the Raceline pedals, LTE, and yeah. So another company, um Nakon, uh Revo Sim, you know, RS Pure kit with the PS5 Xbox Series X and S support and new add-ons. So I'll I'll have there'll be some displays up here on what these things look like. And VPG Sim, which I can't wait, which I was talking to this morning. So shout out to Manny, the Ghost.
Jeff:What can't you wait for, Jason?
Jason:The old tell us. I was like, Manny, what's going on with customs, bro? Can you call them? He's like, I can't call customs, bro, in the US. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Um, I hit him up and I was like, hey man, I made I made my pre-order for the new Porsche Cup Wheel through Podium One. And podium one, nothing but great things to say about them. Super responsive. They actually have a phone number, you know. Go figure that you can call and and and talk to them.
Jeff:You can call a company and talk to somebody.
Jason:You can talk to them. You're not on an unwaiting machine, it's not no AI trying to tell you that you should see how frustrated I get on the phone with an A with when it when it's a machine, bro. Screaming at the top of my lungs. I'm like, agent, representative, representative. Yeah. So they they were really helpful. They said, listen, the shipment, we have to get the stock so that way we can ship you the wheel, and it makes a hundred percent sense. And today I just kind of woke up and I was like feeling iffy, and I was like, you know what? Let me message VPG and see if should I cancel my podium one pre-order and just order direct from you know VPG. And yeah, they've been on top of it. Manny was awesome. Manny was talking to CJ, which is some sort of high level at Podium One. And yeah, they're they're working out the the logistics. So if any of you guys pre-ordered this wheel, just hang tight from Podium One. So, yep. And the uh the actual wheel was showcased in the real car, which is the red livery, the freaking the brand new 992.2 uh Porsche Cup. And I'm I'm so jealous. Uh, one of the guys at the simpit was sitting in the car for like 15 minutes because they told him to sit there and he just sat there. He didn't want to leave. It was funny as hell. Yes, sir. Yeah, yeah. So that's cool. Do you do you have a ETA when you might see the wheel in shipping, or is it just it is one to two days when it happens? One to two days. Oh, yeah. So one to two days. Yeah, because the the the wheels, the shipment, the cargo, the crate, whatever, is in Louisville. And Louisville in the United States, guys, if you guys are ordering things from overseas, and you see your package arrives in Louisville, uh, that's where customs, that's a gateway. We have one uh in Hawaii, the closest one is LAX, and then you have one in Kentucky, I think. Right? So take your word for that. Yep. So I'm just waiting for them to So you're getting close. Uh hopefully next week I'll have it, man. I want to start testing it. I can't wait. If I don't hear back from you, if I don't hear back from you for a couple days, I'll know. No, you'll come over. You'll come over and mess with it. Yeah, you know, you're right down the street. All right, so yeah, VPG. Um, they also um what did they make it? They they uh um they had a dual mode analog paddles here. Um it was a war debut for SRE. They also had a sale recently for their Porsche. I can't say Porsche wheel, but their VPG GT wheel that heavily looks like a Porsche wheel. They had a sale recently going on for that. Um and yeah, that was VPG today. Uh, not today at the expo. So Simicube, of course, the Simicube 3. Um, they had both models there. They had the Savo wheel at the Expo, and I think they announced another wheel there. I can't remember the name. Do you recall the name? If anybody recalls the name, just drop it, drop it below.
Jeff:Email the right off the top of my head.
Jason:This is what happens when we're stuck on the on the sidelines here, man. So, and uh one more thing got announced by Kunos, uh, and it's Aceto Corsa rally, another Aceto Corsa title coming to early access. That's what I don't like on November 13th, 2025. So we're gonna see Unreal Engine 5, which is very promising. Um, Jeff, if you didn't know, um UE5 is basically uh when you when you look at ACC, those kind of graphics. That's the kind of engine that they're using. So nice. Hey, you can't tell me that there's more people doing rally than open wheel. Can we get a set of corsa open wheel?
Jeff:Oh, a set of corsa formula.
Jason:Oh, I know, I know. You got this, I know. I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry. Um I do early access for that. I and I wouldn't even complain about it. I'm gonna do the early access for this. I want to see what this rally thing is about, man. You know, you know, you like rally. What are you talking about, bro? Oh, I do, but not as much as I love formula open wheel. Yeah, true. So Jeff and I I I I I need to I need to break away into this, bro. I need to break it up. Well, I don't know where you're going with this, but go ahead. Well, this was very unexpected, and it just happened right before we just hit the record button just now. And Jeff, you know where I'm going, where I'm where I'm cooking up. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I don't want to mention names, but they were showing you know mouse as being on a compact steering wheel and the adapter costing upwards of $200 for that, which is basically what the QR cost. But then there's a little device that this came from. I want you to know, Jeff, this didn't come from me. This idea came from Edub Sim Racing, which shout out to E Dub. He's a follower and a dear friend of mine, and he noticed these things at the expo. And that's when I hit you up, and I was like, yo, we need to buy one of these, and you were on travel. I think you ordered it from like Thailand or something, wherever you were. So here it is. These little devices are amazing. You got a built-in mouse, game changer, full-size keyboard, the battery lasts, I don't know, forever, and it's USB C and it costs 20 bucks. You know, I'll leave a link in the description. Affiliate free. Just go ahead and pick one up. Just go ahead. Um 20 24. I mean, it's it's awesome. Just and it's incredibly, yeah, it works great. It's got a touchpad, you know, on the top. Don't need to reach over the keyboard. Yeah, I mean, it's killer. And it even was like it came and I was like, yeah, did they send me the the the empty model? Like, there's no guts in it, but yeah, because it's just so light uh and flimsy, but yeah, works great. It's got grips and it's even got like these shoulder buttons, kind of like a remote controller, which is kind of cool. Um, this is an option if you guys um this is actually a great option for when we start adding motion on these rigs. The days of having a mouse connected to the rig are over, I hope you know. Because their mouse is just gonna go, it's gonna go flying. It's gone, it's gone. So having one of these guys that you can securely mount, which we're still trying to figure out a way to securely mount this to the rig without compromise. Uh, we'll get back to you, man. And yeah, I'll put the link in the affiliate free. I don't want nothing from this. I just a quick tip: 20 bucks, hook it up, off you go. Works great. And with that, that is my uh portion of the the coverage of this year. Um, I'm pretty sure I missed many things. I know they had exciting events, they had all kinds of celebrities over there. I saw Daniel Morad was walking around. Um, I saw a bunch of high-level content creators walking around, and yeah, it was packed. Apparently, the up 30% on ticket sales this year, which is insane. You know, it was it was sold out, you know, they sold out the venues. There was not a single open space, yeah. So Germany is it's just a stretch to get over there, but I need to make that happen. I need to experience that at least once, you know.
Jeff:Yeah, Germany's cool. Autobahn, that's my favorite part, and the beer.
Jason:Yeah, and then next year, um I think it's gonna be in Frankfurt. So you international flights come in through there, so as soon as you land, I'm not sure how far into the you know the country is gonna be, but that's pretty cool, right? You have a gateway right there, and you don't have to like land there and then maybe take another plane or take the I mean taking the Autobahn is fun as hell, just like you said. I think that's what Michael did the last year. He he rented out uh uh electric Porsche and just took it straight to the Autobahn uh and found out that there are way faster cars on this Autobahn. So, dude, I remember being in like a little BMW 318 and got like the doors blown off me by like a minivan. Oh, so you now oh yeah, oh yeah. I've been like maxed out this little BMW 318, like I don't remember what it was, turbo diesel or something, and this minivan just and I was going like the minivan, 135 miles an hour, and I just saw it in my head rear view mirror, and then it was gone. Gone this little minivan. I was like, damn, mom's late for soccer practice or something. Damn. Uh yeah, they know how to drive though. They absolutely know how to drive. That's what's up. They should. I need to I'm gonna handful. Yeah, there's only a handful of places that have no no limits, I think. And this was you know, five, geez, seven, eight years ago now, so things maybe changed. Okay. All right, man. So if I think we're closing on the uh sim racing expo, uh for those who went, you know, I'm super jealous and and happy that you that you went over there and you supported the community because the people is what drives these events. Don't you forget that we hold the power, not them. So with that, Jeff, I'll I'll hand it over to your topic today, which is it's kind of cool, man, because you know, you you're doing some, you know what? Let me not steal his thunder. Over to Jeff. No worries. Hey, so I've been um, you know, this new season came out with uh in in iRacing and it released some cars that we've covered um a couple weeks ago. Um, but I don't know what made me want to do it. Uh I jumped in randomly, um, one of the new cars that they pushed out, the Delara IL 15. And what a car. So I'm gonna kind of give you a rundown of this car, um, what I think of it, just a little bit, deep dive on it, a little bit about how to race it and some uh some tips, tricks, and you know, just my little my feedback of the car here. So while we're doing while I'm talking, I'm just gonna share um the uh iRacing page on it, just so you the you can see what the car you know looks like as I kind of talk through a little bit of the background of the actual car here in real life and then um how it races in iRacing. So uh super cool car. So this uh this is a little bit of background that the series known as the IndyCar Next. This is the car that they raced in the IndyCar Next. Uh debuted in 02 as the feeder series for the then Indy Racing League. It took uh and it took on its current name in the 2023 when it was acquired by Penske Entertainment, which we've covered in a couple other episodes later, uh previously. Uh it has become a highly effective at graduating drivers into the premium NTT uh IndyCar series. And then the and with with future IndyCar Champions, uh Newgarden uh and and a couple others, uh, the Delara IL15 introduced in 2015. It features a 415 base horsepower, and you get an additional 50 horsepower with the push the pass button, which I'll talk about later. It comes out of a turbocharged 2.0 liter inline. Yeah. What's that? It's awesome, dude. That pushes the pass button. Yeah, a little yeah, absolutely. So I'll we'll talk about that here in a second. Here, uh, so here's a little I I got a comparison here for you. So the F4 um in iRacing is a same 2.0 liter inline four, and it produces 160 horsepower. So a hundred 450 versus 160. Uh, it's just kind of interesting. So and it weighs only, I think, like 200 and 300 pounds extra uh than the F4. So the cars received an update in uh the real life cars received an update in 21, including the Halo for the driver's safety, which is saved to numerous uh drivers, uh, and the new engine uh tuned by AR AER to run a full seasons without a rebuild. So these cars drive in their series, and that motor is bulletproof for the season for the majority of these drivers. The latest update to the car came in 2023 when Firestone took over as the tire supplier after Penske acquisition uh acquisition of the championship. The uh IL 15 is faster and more capable than the Formula 3 car. This is me comparing it to um the real cars in uh iRacing now, uh, but more approachable than the top-tier indie car IR-15. If you or IR18, excuse me. If you've driven that car, that car is a rocket ship. Um, that's a very similar car to the W13 uh Mercedes that you can drive. Um so this is a great transition. You can go from like an F4 car to this one. Uh it'd be a steep learning curve, a lot more horsepower, which I'll kind of talk to a little bit about how you can handle it and manage it. So this car fits in my mind, it fits in between the super formula light and the superformula. So for perspective, the IR-15 has double the horsepower than the F3, but only weighs 200 pounds more. So it's got that solid spot in between the S the Super Formula Light and the Super Formula. So interesting portion here is this is C class license to drive it in oval or street. So um that's kind of which is awesome, right? Because you you you pay for one car, you can race it in two series. 100%. Yep. And uh I think C class is like the sweet spot for there's still a lot of people racing it, but the people racing it are risking respectful. Not the right word, but you get good clean racing is really what I think the right word to say there. 100% have been around long enough. Um you're not gonna get big old pile ups in turn one when you occasionally, but uh most people are there competitive, they'll keep their line. It just I think that's the sweet spot for me for good competitive racing. Um, so let me jump into it here. So uh it is a rolling start, which caught me by surprise big time on the first one. I jumped into the car and said grid, and I was like, whoa, what is going on? Like, did I miss the grid and I got dropped in? Um, so it was a steep learning curve as that was a rolling start, one of the first rolling starts I've done in a long time. Um so you and it was at uh it was at Virginia International Speedway. So it's not a short first lap as you're doing the formation. Oh, that's a big ass trait, bro. It's a long track, right? So I'm like like there's there's like 50-50, whether we make it around here without somebody hitting or getting hit from the back, you know, just somebody not paying attention. So, anyways, it worked out good, it was great. But uh, they are have fixed setup only at this time. So um probably iRacing statement uh stance here was like, hey, let's just get a season under a belt here, um, and then we can develop that and people can just get their feet wet with it for a season, and maybe we'll see it come out next season. Um it races uh top of the hour every hour, so it's not like there's you know just one or two races a day. Um healthy, right? Obviously. How's the grids? Healthy, yeah. I drove it and there was it was a full grid at 20 something cars. Um so it was cool. Uh maybe not 20, maybe it was like 15 or so, but it was good. So it wasn't like five or seven. Um, so some previous tracks have been Spa, Virginia International, like I said, Portland, and I think this week, while it airs, is uh the Red Bull ring. Want to have a live coach available on demand? With Trophy AI, you'll be able to practice with Mansell AI at your convenience, a real-time coach in your headphones to navigate and guide you through the track, helping you achieve race base. This tool is awesome as it provides full brake, throttle, and steering telemetry on screen with a live review getting you ready for your next big race. Check links to Trophy AI in the description and also use Shicane 12 in all caps for a 12% discount. So super I think the Red Bull is a cool track. It's got some tight turns, high speed corners, Red Bull ring, some straightaways. Yeah, yeah. I used to hate it and now I love it. You know, it's one of those tracks. Yeah, turn two for me is you're going up that hill and then it cuts back real. That's that's it's just a hard turn for me. I don't know why. I just have a hard it's hard to get it. I think every track has that turn. Yeah, everybody has that turn. You just kind of like, oh I I hope I can you know make it through that every you know, and this is every game. Here comes the turn again. Here comes the turn. I just just left this this this corner. Um it's only like a minute, I don't know, a minute and a half. It's a short track, right? But you're like, man, I just left here. Um all right, so I'm gonna talk a little bit about I think that one of the coolest parts of the car is it has the push to pass. Um, so this is like this is there is second car think. This is the only second car to have it. Yeah, second car. So you yeah, the W13 has DRS. This and then the super formula has push the pass. So this is the second push to pass. 23. Yep. And they come alive when you hit that button, bro. It sounds like a VTech, bro. Like when you when you hit it. So this gives you 50 extra horsepower. Um, obviously, activate it um on your steering wheel. I think you could probably activate it wherever, but most people will use it on the steering wheel. Be crazy to take your hands off the steering wheel. Um, you get 150 seconds per race. You cannot use it during qualifying over um, so uh you get a hundred uh so so is it commuted? Is it is it like um sorry to cut you, is it like can it it can't be consecutive, but it's like so you get does it count? Does it keep count? Like if I press it for 10 seconds, that means I have 140 left? Is that what you mean? It does. Yep, okay, absolutely. The longest you can press it is 15 seconds. You can keep pressing the button, but it's gonna cut you off at 15 seconds. And the car is smart too, because when you hit the brakes, it it disengages it, right? Or or or does it not? Yep, absolutely. Okay, no, it will absolutely you have to be, I think 70 you have to be 75% throttle to get it to activate. So if you're pressing the button and it's not working, you probably need are either in practice or falling. So you're saving that for like to defend or or you know on a straight. What were what were you doing? So I did some reading about this, and it is the most effective use of it is out of the corners to get up, get up to top speed. Um, because it is pointless to use the V Max or to use at max speed because you're not gonna get any faster, you're already redlining at in top gear. So, pro tip here is you know, use the juice out of the corners, get up and going, um, and and just manage it over the course of whatever race. You know, if you're doing spots, obviously a longer, longer. It's still dangerous, you know. Um, you know, where out of the right thing, you know. You know, when you when you activate this thing uh coming out of a corner, that's a lot of power that you're asking for, you know. And then you mention you mentioned 75% on the throttle, you know. Yeah, just be sure. So push the pass is only available on street courses, won't work on oval. Uh, I don't think it would really, because you're almost pretty much redlining uh in a in this car on an oval. It'll make sense to have it on oval. No, it depends on the well, maybe a roval, maybe uh maybe a roval, but not an not a straight oval. I don't think so. Yeah.
Jeff:This car would be super cool on like the Daytona Street Course.
Jason:That's what I was saying. Like, yeah, like uh like yeah, yeah. Or Charlotte, the Charlotte Yeah, yeah, something that has the bank and the quick little, yeah. Um, hey, so here's your word of warning, uh, crew. Big time turbo lag in first, second, and third-ish gear. Gentle on the throttle. You can this is not an F4 car, you can't just mash on the throttle and expect the car to be facing the same direction when you're done. Um, so I think there's the saying is if the car is straight, accelerate. If the wheels are straight, accelerate. All right. If you if you're turning, gentle on the throttle. You're talking about 400-something horsepower um in a pretty light little vehicle here. So this is it's a snappy car, but it is fun as shit. Give it a go. Um, there's good fields racing it. I didn't, I did not do an oval race, you know. I'll give you to you straight here, but I did a number of um uh officials in the in the um the formula, and I did a bunch of the time attacks in it. Uh just I I think it's fun because you just constantly are going full out every lap, and you can get the ghost car of somebody that's just a little bit faster than you that you know that iRacing gives you. So that's kind of fun. Um, I use uh trading paint and put a you know Mercedes uh livery on it, and of course, right? And it makes you feel like you're in a formula car. And it's a it's it's not a slouch of a car like the F4 car, it's not a miserable handful like the W13. It's snappy, it's fashionable. I like that. I mean that W-13 is is like it's trying to kill you. Every gear it's trying to kill you. Um, but this is just a super fun car. I'd recommend everybody get in there and at least give it a go, give it a try. Well worth the 13 or so bucks um for it. Gives you two classes to race, you can race an oval and wait a minute, wait a minute, Jeff. Wait a minute, wait a minute. You said $13, right? Guess who's part of guess who's part of the 40 club very recently? You made it the 40 club? That's you. You made it to the 40 club. No, did I make the uh um didn't you make the 40 club? Is it I've bro, I've been the 40 club, bro. I've been okay. So I'm not proud of this. Whatever the first discount level is. I made it to the 40 level within my first year, and that's not good. That's not a good thing.
Jeff:Is it is it good? It's not bad. For those, yeah, okay.
Jason:For those who know what the 40 club is, we'll leave it there. You know, if you don't know, just Google iRacing 40 Club. You'll see what that means.
Jeff:Because I was gonna say, you know, for for $11 or whatever I paid for it. Yeah, so I do have some type of discount going on. I must have made some club that I'm not proud about, but I'm here.
Jason:So uh long story short, here team. Um stop sharing this. The IL 15, uh, super fun car. Give it a go. Uh good fields, C class racing, so you don't really have to worry about you know knuckleheads. Um, I've had a lot of fun and I've been, I think it's all I've maybe driven the last like two weeks. So yeah, man. That's what I got, Jason. Um, yeah. There was a week that this car was at the um rangmeister, I think it's called on the iRacing. Do not sleep on this event on iRacing because it's a different car every week, but it's on the Nord, on the Nords, Nureberg ring. Different car every week. Um so I think I saw it pop up, and but I was so busy I couldn't, I I wanted to. I should have. I should have. But but, anyways, guys, thank you so much, Jeff. And it, but it's that time, and it hasn't been that time in a long time. But it finally is that time. It only took us six months to get here. And Jeff is straight up, he's got the he's he's we've had this ready for how long, Jeff? We've had this ready. No kidding. I think it was pre, was it pre-expo? Yeah, it was. Pre I think it might have been pre-expo. Pre-Chicago Expo, guys. That's like that's don't exaggerate around two months. Yeah. That was September. Because it's got yeah, because it's got pro potentially, I'm gonna may trigger some people here, the most history out of a track, maybe. So without further ado, you want me to dig into it? Yes, sir. It's that time for track of the week, and Jeff Smart's got it, and over back over to him. Thank you so much, Jeff. Ladies and gentlemen, let me share you with what we got today. Today, we are going to cover Silverstone, one of uh, you know, the premier tracks um that at least formula goes to. But I think like everybody would argue that Silverstone is one of the most popular um tracks around the world, really. Um, it just you know, it was big in the F1 movie. Um, but anyways, without further ado, I'm gonna dig into this and you guys can see the track. This is the initial layout back in 1948 that you can hear. What the hell is that? It looks like a yeah, this is so let me dig it. I'll I will explain. Okay, okay. All right. Yeah, it turned it turns out it was on an old uh Air Force. Airfield or yeah. So let me dig into this because it's kind of interesting how this started. So Silverstone declared itself home of the British racing, and with the history stretching back to 1948, there is and there is some justification to the claim. Always with uh one of the fastest circuits, Silverstone has developed from its uh wide-swept airfield origins to one of the most recognizable tracks in motorsports, home to the British Grand Prix on two and four wheels. Today, the circuit boasts its most interactive museum, the Silverstone Experience, and a thriving business park, home to motorsport businesses that include Astor Martin Formula One team. Outside of the Grand Prix, each year, the track plays host to a wide variety of national racing and extremely popular historic meetings, the Silverstone Classic. The circuit began life in 1943 as RAF Silverstone, home to unit training, Wellington pilots, in night bombing techniques. At the end of World War II, it became surplus uh to requirements and lay dormant for several years. Its first brush with motorsports is strictly unofficial. This is awesome. A group of local enthusiasts held an impromptu thrash around the abandoned runway in 1947. One of the this is yeah, ready? Well, I could just imagine like they left the pint, the pub, the pub after a couple pints. He'd be like, hey, I bet I bet I could beat you around the racetrack, the uh airfield. Ah, bullshit, Mikey. I'll take you. And they this is how it happened. One of the one of the people racing struck a sheep as it wandered onto the site of the track, therefore, leading to today's event being dubbed the the mutton grand prix. That poor sheep, bro. So I reminds me of that lizard in Singapore, bro. Yeah, dude, they probably talked about that story, like the boys that bet when they were back at the pub or whatever. Like, remember that day when Johnny hit the sheep going, you know, 80 miles an hour, whatever it was, you know. He disintegrated the sheep, bro. The sheep was just right, bro. Okay. By the following year, there was an official interest in creating a circuit from the runways, with Donington Park being used as a storage area for the military, Brooklyn be uh Brooklyn being owned by Victor's Armstrong with the in uh inevitable focus on aircraft and the Crystal Palace in the state of despair. So this is kind of like the the airfield is kind of going despair as the end of the war is coming on, and they're just not using the field. The Royal Automotive Club began searching for new venues with its expansive runways and per perimeter roads. Silverstone became ideal in what turned out to be one of the best decisions in motorsport racing administrative history. The RAC enlisted James Jimmy Brown to organize the first Grand Prix, giving him less than two months to make an event a reality. Not only did he pull off a minor miracle, Brown remained firmly at the helm for 40 years, guiding Silverstone's transition from um from backwards racing to world class specifically. Figure this out. Two months, bro. Yeah, it it and you're gonna hold a major event here. So uh 1948, we're still here, still in 1948. Uh, so it was the first Grand Prix that run at the beginning of October in 1948 throughout the city, uh, though on a significantly different course to what is what would subsequently follow. Using both main runways as part of the perimeter part of the perimeter road, the course was laid out with oil barrels and straw bale, straw bales. Uh spectators held back uh from the track edge by nothing more than a robust set of ropes. Uh competitors also found themselves heading headlong towards each other at top speeds where the two runways uh ended in hair in sharp hairpins. You can see where uh uh that that is on the map. It's pretty self-explanatory. The solution canvas screens to prevent the drivers from seeing each other as they were driving towards each other. Like we're gonna get rid of the fact that the fact they just won't know they're driving at each other. Um that's right up my alley. That's in the uh the event nonetheless was deemed a success and set Silverstone firmly on the motorsports racing map from uh 1949. A switch to the perimeter roads was only uh was was made, uhbe it a chicane at the club corner initially. The pit facilities were located at Abbey and Woodscott. So I'll jump ahead here. Move the map along here. So it just kind of stays the same here as we're going. So 1950, significantly, Silverstone was the venue for the first Formula One World Championship event in May 1950. The Queen was there to watch to uh to date, the only British event which a reigning monarch has been attended. That's kind of cool. Uh, the early years we also saw the a shorter club circuit introduced for a number of national events for the first time. The vintage sports car club used it a variant, it used a variant of it in 1949, which ran from Corpse through Maggot's, Beckett's and uh Chapel down to the hairpin in Stowe. If you live in you know uh England, you probably know these like the back of your hand. Um, I know them every time Silverstone comes up on the F1 track. I hear uh, you know, uh the commentators comment these. I forget them as we move on. The start finish was just after the Stowe hairpin. Oh good. Uh the course began to run in a clockwise direction. From 1942, the British Racing Drivers Club took over of the running of the circuit from the RAC, and a number of corners saw minor revisions, and other facilities were generally improved. The pits and paddocks assumed their familiar locations between Woodscott and Corpse. Uh, the start-finish line was also moved to the new location accordingly. The classic Silverstone layout was now firmly established, complete with a new club course which ran through Corpse and Maggot before turning back on itself and just ahead of Beckett's and running along the runway back to Woodscott. A few significant circuit layout changes would occur for the next quarter century, although granular improvements to pits and spectator uh facilities continued. So I'm gonna jump to 1970 and Jake. Bro, it was wild in its original form. That shit was like a death trap. Yeah, it's kind of cool that they didn't change it because of it was a death trap. You know, like a lot of things in the past we've talked about have been um you know, like, oh, so-and-so died, seven spectators died. We need to slow the cars down. We need to we need to put warp up. Yeah, right. The Brits are like, we'll put a piece of paper up so they can't see what they're doing. Yeah, they're like, just hold hold my pint, watch this, you know. So 1973, British Grand Prix stands out as a significant event in Silverstone history. At the end of the first lap, a youngful Jody Slector lost control of his McLaren spinning into the pit wall. The chain reaction behind saw multiple pile up behind, which took out most of the field, uh, and was at the time the biggest crash in F1 history. Amazingly, um this uh Andrea De or uh Andrea De La Amish was the only casualty suffering serious injuries, which ultimately would end his driving career. The collision also expected the uh exposed the fact that debris could end up in the grandstands, and it was clear that the changes were needed. As I said, it time would eventually change, makes safety changes. The GPU was held at Brand's hatch in 1974, but uh by the time of the new season arrived in 75, a chicane greeted the racers at Woodscott and did um a brand new pit garage. The national circuit continued to bypass the chicane, as did the motorcycle course. So that's crazy that the GPU they put the track put in the chicane over by uh Woodscott, and the GT, the um the Grand Prix was like, Yeah, we're not doing that. Just keep them going fast. We don't care. That's it. So one thing that has always stood uh from Silverstone, apart from any other circuits, is its high speed with no slow corners to speak of, and long straights taken full throttle. Average speeds continue to climb, even in the additions of the chicane and woodcoat, which we just talked about, did little to slow down the cars and the and the bikes. By the time of the turbo error in F1, cars were passing through the chicane faster than predecessors had managed through the original corner. So they were going through the chicane faster than the cars pre-turbo error were going without the chicane. Um, so some of the famous corners um that you uh if you watch F1, you they will talk about them forever. But you have Abbey's, Beckett's, um, you can see them on the map here. Uh Stowe Corner, Maggot's, I talked about Corpse, Club Corner, and uh the hangar straits, which is you know, back in the day had surprise, surprise, airplane hangers. So I'm gonna jump ahead here to 88-ish. In the map here, where are we at? I think here. Oh, yeah. By the time yeah, they they you can start to see its current shape take form. By the time the F1 stars arrived in 87, the track again skipped a year uh and went to brands hatch, um, which is weird, right? Because brands is like a fairly small track, and Silverstone is huge, like monster difference. Yes, a big difference. Yeah, yeah. So drastic changes have been made to uh to uh Woodscoat. The S Ben Chicane was removed and then replaced by a new sharp left left-right bend on the approach. In addition, more than 1 million pounds was spent replacing the 1975 pits with 40 much larger garages, topped by an all-new press center that would be complete by the 88 Grand Prix. In 1990, uh further significant development happened over the winter of '99, designed to take the circuit through the 90s. The runoff at Corps was increased by tightening the entry and rerouting the corner. While the original Beckett's corner was passed with uh with a sweeping high in high speed series of corners, forming a new Maggot's Beckett's uh chapel curve sequence. This is like that big um if you watch the track now where they're they do those high-speed like S's, which is a super track. Yeah, the weaving, right? Um hangar straight was unchanged. Surprise. Um for an additional of uh traffic bridge. Uh this is to get uh the the spectators in and out, but still was slowed and tightened into a fourth gear turn. Uh love says slowed into fourth gear, not something that usually happens to be fourth gear is probably there. Yeah, before the track diverted off into the new Vale complex and a left right flick, quote unquote, back into the club. The cars were as a consequence slowed down uh and unchanged abbeys before swooping back under the bridge and right through the new high speed corner up to the left hander. Um yeah, so some minor changes here. I'm gonna move ahead to 94 later in the 90s. Oh, yeah, that's a you can start to see it's getting even more further. Track revisions came in 94 after the death of Senna um and some other um and uh some other drivers. Uh, where are we at here? Corpse was further realigned to increase a runoff while new and slower stoves was constructed. Uh the entry of Club was also tightened in a new chicane inserted into Abbey. You know, Jason, if we could just talk F1 here for a second. 94. Like, this is these this is where the cars are starting to like be stupid fast. Yeah, man. Like car, like the tracks can't keep up with the technology of the tracks they're racing at. They were is that a fair statement? Yes, you know, yep. So the biggest change we have here is up to 96. Let me change to 96 here. And we'll just kind of slowly click through these because there's very small changes um as we get to modern day here. So I'm gonna leave it at that and just read the last bit of updates here. In 96, a better solution was found for the stow corner by adding a gradual kink towards the end of the hangar straight, moving the track inward towards the field, greater room created for runoffs, and a faster stow um could be created and some additional uh hanger or not had hangar um, but pit updates. So uh, team that's Silverstone. Awesome track, super fun track to race on iRacing. The the formula racing there is world class every year. Um, super passionate fans. Um, I think you have like uh like I said, Aston Martin there, McLaren and Mercedes F1 headquarters are like within five kilometers of the track. Legendary track, too. Yeah, here I'll stop this and we can for some some people call it Silverston. You know, for some it's Silverston, but you know, uh in America, Silverstone, Silverstone. Uh I will I will Yeah, I'm I'm I will say this, Jeff. I was I was agreeing with you earlier. I was kind of like, you know, you're saying that post-90s, post-mid 90s, you know, cars got extremely fast. Um even in the late 80s, there were freaking, they were they were really hammering down out there. And it always starts out with the track being just wide open, and then they they're trying to slow them down um for safety reasons and all kinds of stuff. And you know same thing that's happening in modern times. Now we're looking at slower cars, you know, for for you know f126. So I don't know. I I don't know why why can't they just expand the tracks, make them bigger? I don't know. Um maybe it's a money thing, it's expensive. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Uh George Russell had some comments yesterday or today that he said, hey, if F1's turned into a race to the first corner, turn one. Oh yeah, and then it's and then it's over he's not wrong, right? There's so I guess as much as I don't hate see I I'm not thrilled with the cars getting I guess you could say slower um horsepower wise, you know, the active arrow hopefully will be cool. But uh I guess I'd take it if there was just better uh racing, more passing opportunities. Um yeah. I saw a comparison of like the F1 car size wise, and then like the new one was like this big. I'm like, what? What are we driving our little go-karts? Like like half the size.
Jeff:I hope F one knows what they're doing here.
Jason:I don't know. I will say that you know, F1 you know, George is known to Make these comments, right? And that we all know who he's talking about. As soon as that guy turns the corner and he's got the open air, he's gone. He's gone and nobody's stopping him. Uh, but that's kind of how it's always been, right? Because before Max, it used to be Lewis. Lewis would lap cars, you know, he'll be all by himself, way out in the distance. Um I just think that you know what I think? I think that, and and and this is gonna be this is this is kind of like controversial, or for some, for the for the hardcore fan. I just think everyone should get the same car. Everyone should get the same car, same spec, and let's see, yeah, and let's see who's the better racer. Let's see who's the better driver. You know, I think it's there's gotta be a mix of that because part of what makes F1 F1 is the technology and the um the R. The shenanigans, right? You're doing, you know. And the shenanigans. The shenanigans, the drama. You got the Don King of freaking F1. What's his name? Um I forget his name. He's always got shades on. They kicked him off the the the the uh the what do you call it? Um the paddock, uh, and then they brought him back in. What is his name? Damn it. He's back at Alpine. Oh, you know who I'm talking about. Alpine is the Alpine team or uh CEO or whatever. And that guy, yeah, I can never understand what he's talking. It doesn't matter, but whatever people on people, it doesn't matter because guys like this guy, they get their way. It doesn't matter how they get it, doesn't matter. They pick up the phone and somehow things happen. Um and and you know, that's kind of it gives it, it gives the sport character, right? We're talking about Formula One here. Sport gives it, it gives it that much oomph to it, right? And we watch Drive to Survive and see all the behind the scenes and all the shit that happened that we missed on, and you're like, oh snap, and that's kind of where he came from, right? You know, that's kind of how we found out in detail how the hell he came back. I mean, there's some fans out there that will stay on the new sites and just you know, just go on a deep dive. I don't like doing that because when you start doing that and the algorithm sees you do that, you get spoiled pretty bad if you're not careful because you know your entire feed is now F1 focused or racing. But uh Flavio Fire Flavio Torah. He might as he might as well be Don King, bro. That's the Don King of freaking Formula One. That's it.
Jeff:No, can Flavio comb can Flavio comb his hair? Take off those stupid glasses, bro.
Jason:He's got these funky glasses, he's trying to stay with the times. This guy's like a billionaire, right? He's like a big he doesn't need to be there. He's he's gonna be able to do it.
Jeff:He doesn't give a shit what Jeff Smart's got to say.
Jason:No, you don't. No, he don't. All right, well, Jeff, thank you so much for re-viping track of the week. Finally, next week is on me, and I have I have something ready to go already, uh, as well as we all. And yeah, um, you know, sim racing expos. You know, there's another one happening here in Charlotte, and it's hosted by the very same team in Dortman. And then we get to recycle and start all over again, you know. So I don't know. We're thinking about we're thinking about this one. We're thinking about this next one. I think it's May, right? Or April. May or April? It's for the Coca-Cola 600. Yes. Uh is it in August?
Jeff:I thought it was August.
Jason:All right, we're gonna do a fact check while while Jeff's doing a fact check. Um, I'm pretty sure it's like April, bro. Um, yeah, so it's gonna bring up a huge crowd. It's gonna have NASCAR, uh the Coca-Cola 600. Um a few friends of mine are going over there, and I don't know. I I don't know. It's just it's hard traveling from Hawaii, especially in traveling all the way across the you know, halfway around the world for like three days and then turn around. That that one is a nice uh it's difficult. But yeah, the Charlotte, what is it, the Charlotte Sim Racing Expo? Yeah, I'm seeing the Coco Gol 600 is May 24th weekend. That's a Sunday. So it was May. So you are right, May, which is great, better than August. It is, it's that's like the start of the summer right there, basically. So um, but yeah, man, that's all we got for today. Uh Jeff, do you have any uh last calls here? Anything you want to put out before we go?
Jeff:I don't think so, buddy. I don't think so. You got anything?
Jason:I have nothing. Send it, buddy. Well, um so you have nothing. I'm sorry. I know it's been a while, bro. Slipping away. Hey, everybody get in that rig and uh drive the hell out of their car, whatever they're driving, and drive fast and break late. There you go. There you go, Jeff. So drive fast and break late. And to those that uh don't break late, uh, just move out the way, I guess. I don't know. I don't know.
Jeff:Just don't hit anybody as you're going smoking through the torrent. That's that's it, man.
Jason:Hey guys, if you guys have any questions, uh any emails, any um anything, anything you want to put out on the show, send us an email at theshicanepodcast at gmail.com. Leave a like, comment, subscribe, and thank you so much. And Jeff, thank you, thank you so much for reviving track of the week again. I'm glad it's back. I can't, I don't have to say that or apologize that we're not doing it this week. Hopefully, finally, right? I know. Um back on the saddle. That's it. And to be unto all you viewers and listeners out there, have a great start of your week. Thank you.
